It is, now a Shoemaker to the world, was founded in Moravia in 1894 by three siblings named Thomas, Antonin and Anna bata. It was a rare find in its time, employing 10 people for full working hours and a regular weekly wage. Bata, with its headquarters located in Lausanne, Switzerland, carries out its business operations in most of the developed countries globally. Today, it approximately serves more than 1 million customers per day, employing over 30,000 people, operates more than 5,000 retail stores, manages 27 production facilities and a retail presence in over 90 countries mostly in Asia, Europe and Australia. It has been existing in India since 1931 and in all these 84 years, it has been earning a special place in the hearts of Indians. It has a wide range of products suitable to every age group and any class of people at affordable prices. Fashion and trend wise, they are their own superheroes.
