Hands on Learning

This is activity based learning which helps children grasp fundamentals of their topics properly and connect them and apply them to life. Children learn while doing and not by listening and by rote. Simple activities and toys are used to make learning science fun and exciting. Hands on learning makes students remember better, and provides the ability to transfer the knowledge. Students with ESL barriers, auditory deficiencies, or behavioral interference can benefit because they are part of the learning process. These activities are programmed to equip children with an open mind, strong reasoning, independence of thought, and self confidence to create their future with their own hands.

Learning through Concept Maps

Concept maps are colorful, visual forms of representing key concepts covered in a chapter. They are used as an effective overview, learning and revision tool. The heart of the concept map is the central topic of the chapter, which is then explored by means of branches representing main ideas, connected to the central idea.

Fun Science and Maths

Butterfly Fields has several games that make learning of maths and science fun and interesting. These games include Nutri-mania (about nutritional facts), Pirates of Prime Numbers (learning about Prime Numbers, Perfect Squares), Did Dug Bono (tour of World Civilizations, parts of skeleton), Math Maze (Basic Operations of Integers), Cellino (parts of Animal and plant cells and functions), Organs and Systems (important organs in the human body and its functions).
