iKen Scientifica Coupons - On-line science competition 2013-14

iKen Scientifica is India’s largest hands-on science competition started in the year 2007. In past six years, this international competition had over 5, 00,000 participants from 17+countries from across the globe. By inculcating practical approach it helps children understand science by experiential learning it develops a Design & Technology approach towards solving practical life problem solving and brings out the creative side of learning science.

A team of up to 4 students (Age 9 to 15) can participate by registering on-line by entering team details and paying a registration fee of INR 600/-

Screening Criteria:
Like every year, iKen Scientifica, 2013 is a multi-round competition. Participants will be shortlisted after each round. The winner/winners after all the rounds will get to chance to visit The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA); all expenses covered by Mexus Education Pvt. Ltd. The theme of this year’s first round is industrial science problems. Participants will have to pick one real life problem and find its solution in their surroundings. Then they have to propose the business aspect of this solution. After the solution is ready, team leader can submit the documented solution on the Scientifica website. These submissions will be evaluated by judging panel consisting of IIT graduates. Judging parameters are Innovation, Cost feasibility, Market feasibility and Product feasibility.
